Heaven and hell are real and everyone wants to go to heaven but is Jesus and Christianity the only way to get there? Aren¡¦t there many ways to heaven, one way may be right for some but not for others, just find what¡¦s right for you? Don¡¦t all gateways lead to heaven? That¡¦s what Satan wants you to think! There are many paths but only one leads to heaven and that¡¦s Jesus. All others will get you lost.
Jesus and God are the same, Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14 13

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.  For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

and in Luke 13:24-28 

 Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.  When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us, then he will answer you, I do not know where you come from.  Then you will begin to say,We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.  But he will say, I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!  In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves cast out.

 Here Jesus is telling us that there is one narrow gateway to life and all others lead to destruction. That narrow gate is Jesus In John 10: 9-10 He says

 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly Many will find the other gate because it is easy, they think it is the one that is right for them but it leads to a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Why is it that there are so many ways but only one is right? Because Satan knows that all who don¡¦t find the right gate will be with him. Satan is in a war with God and is trying to pull as many people away from Him as possible. Satan also knows that very few people would follow him if they knew they were doing it, nobody really wants to go to hell instead of heaven. So Satan tricks people into following him when they think they are going to heaven. By building a wider easier gate that looks like it leads to heaven, Satan is leading people away from heaven.
But how do we enter through that narrow gate? How do we enter through Jesus? It¡¦s not by being knowledgeable and knowing scripture. In John 5:39-42 Jesus says

 You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me,  yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life.  I do not receive glory from people.  But I know that you do not have the love of God within you.

It¡¦s not just by following Jesus' teachings, in Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus says

Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  On that day many will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.

 Jesus is the gate to heaven, we need to know the gate and the gate needs to know us. John 14: 6-7 says;

Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.

 We need to know Jesus, not just know of him and he needs to know us.
How do we get to know Jesus? First you need to know what He did for you. Heaven is perfect, and to get in you need to be perfect or heaven won¡¦t be perfect anymore. Nobody is perfect but God being a loving God is willing to forgive our imperfections, our sins. But God is also just and the penalty for our sins must be paid. Romans 6; 23 says

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus who is perfect volunteered to pay the penalty for our sins.

 By knowing this, we can accept Jesus' payment and don't have to pay ourselves. But we still need to accept Jesus' gift of payment of our sin. To do this we just need to go to Him, tell Him we believe in Him, that we owe our life to him and accept and thank Him for paying our debt.
